Mandy Johnson

I was born and raised in the great Pacific Northwest close to Seattle, WA. I completed my Birth Doula training through Childbirth International in Washington State. I have been a certified Doula since 2015. I have three wonderful children and gave birth to a surrogate baby in 2017. My husband, children and I moved to Albuquerque N.M. in November of 2017. I stared working with New Life Birth Services in September of 2018 and I have loved being part of such a great group of dedicated birth workers. I have experienced natural and medicated births and I will support every birth in any setting, including hospital, birth centers, and home. I have experience supporting water births, vbacs, vaginal unmedicated, vaginal medicated, cesarean, and high-risk births.

I truly have a passion for helping women through their pregnancy and births. I discovered this passion while I was preparing to give birth to my daughter who was my third baby. During this time I realized that every birthing mother would benefit greatly from the support of a doula by her side. Since then it has been my joy to provide advocacy, support, reassurance, and knowledge to mothers from a wide variety of backgrounds, each a unique and breathtaking experience. Every birth is amazing and beautiful and I feel blessed to be part of that life changing event.
