When I became pregnant with my daughter at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, I quickly found myself confronted with a world that seemed to question every choice I made about my birth. As the world struggled to understand our new normal, my sense of control over my laboring and birthing experience seemed to vanish, along with my sense of peace. Navigating the transition to new motherhood in such a rapidly changing reality was overwhelming, to say the least.

However, my journey took a transformative turn when I experienced the magic of a birth doula. My doula's unwavering support, knowledge, and compassion helped me reclaim a sense of empowerment and peace. She provided me with the tools and confidence to make informed decisions, creating a birth experience that was truly mine, despite the chaos around me.

This profound experience inspired me to become a birth doula myself. I want to offer other women the same support and empowerment I received and feel called to walk alongside and be a witness to the transformative magic of birth. I completed my Birth Doula training through DONA (Doulas of North America International)  with Penny Bussell Stansfield in 2023.  My training has equipped me to provide comprehensive support, from prenatal education and labor coaching to postpartum care and breastfeeding basics.

Today, I am passionate about helping expectant mothers navigate their own unique journeys, offering them the steadfast support they need to feel empowered and at peace with their birthing experiences. My goal is to ensure that everyone I work with feels heard, respected, and empowered to make the choices that are right for them and their growing family.

My husband and I are proud to call Albuquerque home and we are now parents to two amazing kiddos that keep us on our toes with one more on the way in May 2026. As we welcome our newest little boy into the family, I will be taking a pause on birth doula support beginning April 1st 2026 through January 1st 2027 for all new birth doula clients. If you are a previous birth doula client due within this window and are looking for doula support, please reach out  to me directly. I'm looking forward to being back supporting clients through direct birth support in January of 2027. In the meantime, I'll be in the background ensuring a supportive New Life experience for all of our clients while I soak in the new life on maternity leave.
