Hello! I’m Rebekah. I was raised just south of Albuquerque in Los Lunas and spent much of my life absorbing the beautiful and unique culture of New Mexico.  I am the oldest of four siblings and was always enthralled with babies.  I also spent over 25 years of my life as a dancer, and enjoyed teaching dance to young children.  I always envisioned myself finding a way to follow my passions and make families the center of my life’s work.

When becoming a mother, I experienced the love and support of a birth doula, an IBCLC, and early intervention specialists. They became my village and encouraged me in ways I never knew I needed, and I fell in love with the idea of helping others in a similar capacity. They really helped my family succeed. I believe every family deserves to feel that kind of love and support.

With this newfound inspiration and drive, I returned to school to earn a Master’s degree in Family & Human Development from Arizona State University. I wanted to better equip myself for the developmental and emotional needs of children and families and to study how I can properly support families in an effective way. 

Additionally, I am now a Certified Postpartum Doula through CAPPA and a Certified Lactation Counselor through ALPP. I am eager and fortunate to have learned from some of the best birthing professionals in my local community and I continue to learn from each and every family that I have the opportunity to come into contact with.  I look forward to a future where every family feels cared for and supported unconditionally throughout their journey.
