I am honored that my journey has led me to New Life Birth Services—a place where I may be part of an amazing team with the incredible responsibility of ushering new life into the world and creating space for mothers.

I recently completed my Birth Doula training under Penny Bussell Stansfield (DONA Instructor) in Albuquerque, NM. I am excited to use my training as a New Life Doula Intern. My experience as a yoga instructor inspired me to create a safe space for the vulnerability of others.

My path as a doula started before I knew what the word “doula” meant. Over the years, a few of my friends needed someone who could provide a peaceful, loving, and safe environment for them as they gave birth. I was honored when they asked me. My experiences with this paradigm-shifting work solidified my belief that being a doula is one of my callings.

I am thankful to be a Birth Doula Intern at New Life Birth Services and learn from the best in the field. I am thankful to join a family who loves serving others.

I am proud to call New Mexico my home. It is truly a magical place filled with so much beauty and mystery. Being from Northern New Mexico, I have had so many opportunities to explore NM and appreciate every sunset. When I am not at work, you can find me weightlifting, teaching yoga, taking yoga class, mountain biking, or running around the foothills.
